diy flowers - my new favourite thing

One of the productive things I managed to do during my Sunday afternoons is making some of these floral flowers.. You can use them for almost anything (hair brooch, bridal sash or just pin it on your t-shirt to give it a whole new look.

They were surprisingly easy to make and you only need fabric scraps, needle + thread, and a pin backing.

This one was my first attempt.........

Engagement shoot for myself and my fiance Todd and our adorable little dog Hughey in Nundah.. This is the first time I have ever had my photo taken this way.. I was so so nervous.. But Jess and Steve were so great and you feel so relaxed with them..

We are getting married in July this year and I have absolutly fell in love with everything blogs/wedding/fashion/craft DIY projects. Anyway... here's a few photos from the shoot. Hope you like them.
